What we use cookies for
Cookies and local storage are used so Shelvia can keep you signed in, remember small UI preferences (theme, sidebar state), and remember whether you have seen the cookie notice. Nothing else.
What we do not use
- No advertising cookies.
- No third-party analytics cookies.
- No cross-site tracking or fingerprinting.
- No social-share trackers embedded in the product.
Accept or reject
Use the Accept or Reject buttons in the cookie notice that appears on your first visit. Either choice is remembered on this device.
Strictly necessary cookies (sign-in session, theme preference, sidebar state, the consent record itself) load either way because the product cannot function without them. Your reject choice is preserved so that if Shelvia ever introduces optional cookies, those stay off.
Clearing cookies
Clear cookies for the Shelvia origin from your browser settings. Signing out also removes the auth cookie. Clearing local storage resets theme and sidebar preferences.
Browser extension
The Shelvia browser extension stores your API token and last-used project in chrome.storage.local on your device. This is local extension storage, not a cookie, and is never sent anywhere except your Shelvia instance. Disconnect from the popup gear icon to clear it.
